51st Annex Still Stands
The 51st Annex, located at 425 N 51st Street in Fort Smith, has remained empty since the Summer of 2024. The building was the Fort Smith Nursing Center before the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith came into possession of it. UAFS Bookstore Reopens with New Graphics, Prizes, and Day of Giving
The UAFS bookstore recently held a grand reopening on Tuesday, April 29th, to present the new graphics displayed in the store. The bookstore underwent a remodel during the summer of 2024, but has since been updated with graphics. This includes images of campus life, as well as Numa, up on the walls in the merchandise section of the store. AAPI Festival Honors in the Best Way
On Friday, April 25th, the Asian Culture Club hosted their annual Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Festival, which was welcome to both the student body and the public. Delta Gamma Hosts 16th Annual Anchor Slam: Raising Funds and Awareness for Service for Sight
Delta Gamma hosted its 16th annual Anchor Slam on March 13th. It was held in the RAWC on campus and raised close to $2,500 for the organization’s philanthropy Service for Sight. Each year Delta Gamma hosts events in order to raise money to give back to individuals who have vision impairments, and the programs that serve them. 100% of the proceeds from the event go to Service for Sight. The U.S. made history at the most recent 4 Nations Face-Off game when they proceeded so start three fist fights within nine seconds of the game. On Sunday, February 9, 2025, the Kansas City Chiefs played against the Philadelphia Eagles at the Caesars Superdome, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
