As a UAFS student, you have free access to the on-campus gym, also known as the RAWC. The Recreational and Wellness Center is where students can go and workout in a multitude of ways. They have the option of using any of the features in the RAWC: machines, free weights, two full-sized courts, the upstairs track, and the rock climbing wall.
Another feature of the RAWC, which is completely free to students, is the weekly group workout classes. Core Crunch is offered once a week and includes a workout session that focuses on the core of the body. Indoor Cycling is offered twice a week and includes a guided cycle ride that corresponds to a playlist. Zumba! is offered three times a week and includes a guided Zumba class from a licensed instructor. Yoga is offered three times a week and includes a meditation and mindful workout at lunchtime. Cardio dance is offered once a week and includes a high-power workout in the style of dance. HIIT is offered once a week.
Group workout classes are a great way to get introduced to the RAWC and workout in a fun environment with your friends and classmates.
