On Thursday, May 4th, the UAFS Residence Hall Association will have a free breakfast event to help students prepare for their upcoming final exams. The Finals Breakfast will be in the Lion's Den Dining Hall from 10 pm-12 am.
We all know how stressful Finals Week can be with the ongoing exams, final projects, and constant essay writing. In 2018, Jordan Corley wrote an article for The Collegian about the effects that stress could have on students during Finals Week. Corley had this to say; “Finals week can be a stressful time for students, worsened by inadequate coping techniques and pressure from both internal and external sources.” but that doesn’t mean you don’t have time to enjoy breakfast food in the middle of the night, it may even help alleviate some stress. The good news is that while you’re starting to prepare for upcoming finals you won’t have to worry about satisfying your nightly craving for breakfast foods.
“This year RHA put almost $600 into prizes which students can enter into a raffle and win one out of 10 prizes,” says Hailey Key, president of RHA.
There will be free food, a stormtrooper cut-out for students to take pictures with, and the first 100 students to attend will also receive a free t-shirt.
Take a break from your Finals Week worries and have some breakfast food, you deserve it. And of course, May the 4th Be With You as we head towards Finals Week.
