Kendee Hughs Productions presents ‘Bedlam at the Beard and Lady.’ The murder mystery dinner takes place in Chester, Arkansas at the historic Beard and Lady Inn. The murder mystery comedy is written by Chuck King and directed by Jessye Wooten.
Coming in the Spring of 2023 is another production written by Chuck King. The newest show will open at GiggleMuggs Creamery in Van Buren, Arkansas, called, ‘I Scream.’
The Beard and Lady Inn was built in 1887 and was restored in 2019. Known for its ghost stories and historic guests, the inn now holds real-life characters such as Jesse James, Belle Starr, and Charles Tolson as they try to find a murderer. One of the actors includes the UAFS Theatre Department’s own, Brieana McAfee.
The production provides dinner and a dessert. The dinner options include BBQ chicken, BBQ brisket, or BBQ potato served with two sides and a roll. Tickets are available starting out at $63.59. VIP tickets that provide a meet and greet with the cast, 10% off of merchandise, and a signed poster are available for $94.64.
