Netflix Begins At Home Virtual Screenings

Updated: Nov 19, 2021

Do you have a favorite Netflix show that’s fixing to be released or a new movie that sparked your interest? You might be able to watch your favorite show/movie before anyone else if you keep an eye out on Netflix's and your favorite show's Twitter pages. By RSVPing for a virtual seat on a first come first serve basis, it gives you the opportunity to view the screening from the comfort of your own home.

Despite the screenings being hosted by Netflix, you don’t have to have a Netflix account to be able to attend the virtual screening. They began hosting these screenings to generate a buzz about the upcoming show or movie before the premiere. Some of the recent screenings were the first episode of YOU, two episodes of Midnight Mass, Bruised with Halle Berry, and the film KATE.

Often, a Q&A session will follow the screenings with the cast and directors. This gives fans the opportunity to ask questions via Zoom and learn more about the show. Watch for tweets, because you might get to ask your favorite actress a question and watch the show before everyone else!
